the structure becomes a reflection of the natural forces present in the region, while simultaneously addressing the intervention needed for human engagement. by doing so, the architecture strives to engage with the questions of humanities’ artificial framing of the natural world. the architecture consists of two contrasting components. (01) a massive feeling wall embedded in the landscape and (02) a tectonic structure lifted and removed from its direct adjacencies. the tension between these two elements reflects the relationship between natural forces and the inescapable culture of human intervention.
